We have answers

Q: What services do you provide?

We source temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing services candidates for clients of all sizes in the New Hampshire seacoast, southern Maine, and northeastern Massachusetts areas. Our specialties include accounting, finance, engineering, administrative and human resource staffing in a wide variety of industries.

Q: What are the advantages of working with a staffing agency?

A: Staffing agencies provide invaluable service to small, medium and large companies. We weed through thousands of resumes to present you with only the candidates whose skills and abilities truly match the requirements of your job opportunity.

Q: How is Staff Hunters different from any other staffing agency?

A: Staff Hunters takes a genuine interest in learning about your organization and what you are looking for in your future employees. We work diligently to make sure we successfully fulfill your staffing needs, and follow through with our commitments with honesty and integrity.

Q: Do you staff only temporary employees?

A: In addition to temporary employees, we provide candidates in a supplemental-to-direct basis so you can see if the person is a fit before hiring them on as your own employee. We also source direct-hire candidates.

Q: How do you vet your candidates?

A: Before presenting any candidates to our clients, we meet with each candidate to get in-depth knowledge of what type(s) of jobs he or she is looking for. We learn about our candidate’s history, skill sets, and requirements in a position. After our initial meeting, we conduct skills testing, we contact references, and verify past employment.

A: You are not required to work exclusively with Staff Hunters. However, once you work with us and see the Staff Hunters advantage, you won’t want to work with another staffing firm.

Q: Where do you get your pool of candidates?

A: Staff Hunters continually recruits high-quality accounting, finance, administrative and human resources professionals. When we find a candidate who fits your company’s culture and needs, we like to make you aware of a potential match. At any given time, we know which accounting, finance, engineering, administrative and human resources professionals are conducting active and passive job searches. This gives us access to the best talent as quality applicants become available.

Q: Who pays the employees?

A: If we place a candidate in a temporary role, the candidate is paid by Staff Hunters. If we place a candidate in a direct-hire role, you are responsible for paying the candidate.

Q: What do we do if we have an issue with one of your temporary employees?

A: We encourage our clients to reach out to us whenever there is an issue with one of our temporary employees. In fact, we check in often with our clients to make sure our employees are performing as expected, and will work with you to resolve any issues immediately.

Q: Is there a defined time limit for temporary employees?

A: There is no time limit for candidates placed in temporary roles. If you find your short-term opening is turning into a long-term need (or vice versa), we will lengthen or shorten our candidate’s commitment to your organization.
