Staff Hunters and AmWINS Program Underwriters are partnering to assist End 68 Hours of Hunger! We are hosting a food drive between November 1-20.
The End 68 Hours of Hunger Program discreetly provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food to chronically hungry children in backpacks or grocery bags to take home over the weekend and at other times when school is not in session.
Their mission is to meet the needs of local school children who confront approximately 68 hours of hunger between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday afternoon and the free breakfast they receive on Monday morning. In Portsmouth, this program assists families in all six of our public schools. They are a 100% volunteer organization and unless otherwise specified, 100% of all monetary donations are used to purchase food. End 68 Hours of Hunger is a Not-For-Profit 501 (c)(3) organization.
Join us in this effort! We have a designated box located at the Staff Hunters Portsmouth office: 1 New Hampshire Ave, Suite 105.
