Amber Payne has been serving the staffing industry since 2000. Prior to moving to the East Coast and joining Staff Hunters in 2006, Amber spent four years as Senior Staffing Manager at an international staffing firm working on their largest national account, Wells Fargo. Amber also has eight years of experience in recruiting and human resource management in a corporate setting with organizations including Sony Corporation of America. Amber holds a certification in Human Resource Management from the University of California, Berkeley. As a staffing professional, Amber enjoys the challenge of connecting with specialized professionals and matching them with quality organizations. Amber grew up working at her family’s accounting/management consulting firm that specialized in helping small businesses grow, so she enjoys learning about Staff Hunters’ clients and helping to add value to the success of local businesses. Amber has received various recognitions for her superior customer service and management skills. When she is away from work, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and step-son, and visiting her friends and family on the West Coast.

Kendra Palmer originally joined Staff Hunters in 2011 as an Engineering Recruiter, and is currently a Senior Engineering Recruiter Manager. In her position, Kendra recruits engineers, technicians, and designers at all levels. She enjoys helping both candidates and companies make the right match, and continuously strives to stay current on the latest recruiting strategies. Prior to joining Staff Hunters, Kendra spent eight years recruiting IT, science, finance, and engineering staff for the Maine division of a large national recruiting firm. In 2010, she was formally recognized for her enthusiasm and interest in recruiting. Born in Maine, Kendra spent much of her youth between the Maine lakes and coast. She graduated with a BS from the University of Maine and an MBA from University of Southern Maine. Outside of work, Kendra is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys kayaking and exploring the outdoors with her family, friends, and her amazing dog. She can often be found kayaking the lakes and seacoast of New England, and aspires to kayak internationally someday in Baja Mexico or the Caribbean.

Katie Hudson joined the organization in 2015 as an administrative assistant, moved into a staffing manager role in 2016 and was most recently promoted to Senior Staffing Manager in 2018. In this role, she is primarily responsible for sourcing and placing qualified candidates into administrative and accounting positions, as well as building and nurturing business relationships with current and future clients. Before joining Staff Hunters, Katie was an administrative assistant for Leddy Group.

Currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business administration at SNHU, Katie belongs to the National Society of Leadership and Success, as well as the Society for Human Resources Management.

She enjoys spending her free time participating in outdoor activities, especially horseback riding. As an avid horseback rider, Katie owns three horses and has been riding for 20 years.

Laura Brunson is a Marketing Specialist, responsible for the marketing and communication efforts of Staff Hunters and its staffing affiliates. In her role, she develops and implements creative marketing campaigns utilizing inbound marketing, social media outreach, and digital and print advertising. Laura then analyzes campaign results and overall analytics to ensure the marketing activities are helping the organizations reach their goals.

Initially hired in 2013 as a Resource Specialist for Staff Hunters’ affiliate, Leddy Group, Laura not only interviewed candidates and placed them in appropriate positions, she also provided administrative support to Leddy Group’s marketing department. It was in that role that she demonstrated a passion and talent for marketing and transitioned into her current position as Marketing Specialist in 2017.

Laura was formerly a Promotion Supervisor for Eastern Propane & Oil’s company-sponsored concert series. In that role, she interacted with potential clients, generated sales leads, and managed a variety of activities and promotions. She also worked as the Office Manager and Director of Marketing for Flat Rock Bridge Family Resort, a small, privately-owned campground in Lebanon, ME, where she managed payroll, scheduling and sales, designed marketing materials, planned events, and handled a variety of office functions.

Originally from Rochester, NH, Laura graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2012 with a B.S. in Marketing. She is a talented musician who has played piano for over 20 years, and enjoys writing music and reading.
